According to this morning's Washington Post (http://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/mystics/mystics-g-alana-beard-aggravates-foot-injury-will-miss-remainder-of-wnba-season/2011/08/10/gIQAD7Y36I_story.html), Alana will miss the rest of this season - making it two years in a row that she's been completely sidelined by injury. Apparently, she re-aggravated her foot injury in practice earlier this week.
Best of luck to Alana in her continued recovery. The Mystics miss her terribly, and it's sure a lot less fun to watch them without her on the court.
