As for the Juventus comment, in Italy it is not common for the soccer clubs to also have a basketball section as many prominent clubs in Spain, Russia, Greece, Turkey, and Israel do. Also some individual clubs like Bayern Munich (the new home of the Big East player of the year) have basketball teams.

I was simply commenting that when I saw the headline my initial reaction was "since when does marty play soccer?" Thanks for the info though.
