This is nearly unbelievable.

Calhoun believes that AD Hathaway has got to go. This is the AD that was at the helm for the lack of institutional control episode and was in charge while the Academic Performance Rating bottomed out (costing uCon 2 schollies). Why does he have to go? Too lenient? Heck no! Hathaway put a provision into Calhoun's contract that resulted in a $187,500 penalty for the team's poor academic performance.

Thus, Calhoun won't officially declare he is coming back until Hathaway is gone, which should be soon.

Calhoun might have his championships, but none of my respect. He is a little, little man.

Another take from Gary Parrish:

His opinion of calhoun appears to be as low as mine:

The man, just last season, basically got away with using a booster turned agent to buy a prospect,

... Calhoun could stop this.

But I bet you all the money Josh Nochimson gave Nate Miles that he won't.

how is this any different than any other coach who uses their position to force people out and get more money? I don't think its right, but its hardly an isolated incident in the college sports world.

Translated: "He wins and drives revenues. Who cares about that other stuff..."

Some schools do seem to care about that other stuff...

I think the announcement will be quick, calhoun implicitly making it clear that he was the victor in the power play. Not a bit of class in him.
