Maybe this connection with Duke is too tenuous to stay up but it's a nice story. The Today show did a feature on double amputee veteran Mark Holbert and his reintegration into society, including a race he ran in with a tricycle wheelchair powered with his arms. Chris Paulus was mentioned and shown helping Holbert. http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/26184891/vp/43180324#43180324 Team Red White and Blue helps wounded vets http://www.facebook.com/pages/Team-Red-White-Blue/108295759229134

This Chris sure bore a resemblance to Greg in face, gait and posture. It wasn't mentioned in the t.v. piece but this is Greg's brother, who played football for Georgetown. Pretty special family.

I have not seen the Today show segment yet, but have it DVR'd to watch tonight.
Team RWB (www.teamrwb.com) is a wonderful organization working with wounded veterans and assisting with reintegration into society post combat or upon exit from active duty - National Guard service.

Mike Erwin, the founder of Team RWB, is a '98 West Point grad. Mike grew up in the Syracuse area - hence the link to the Paulus family.

I would encourage your support of Team RWB!!!
Great cause, great people and great events!

Some of you will remember the segment that aired on the Today show in the spring on Team Red White and Blue. Chris Paulus, Greg's younger brother, was part of the feature.

Mike Erwin, the founder of Team Red White and Blue, has been named one of 2011's running heros by Runners World magazine. This is an organization on the rise doing great work in support of veterans.
