"The Atlantic Coast Conference and the Big Ten Conference announced Thursday the pairings for the annual Big Ten/ACC Women's Basketball Challenge, which will feature Purdue traveling to Cameron Indoor Stadium to face Duke on Thursday, Dec. 1. The challenge is in its fifth year of what began as a four-year agreement and has been extended until 2012.
The 2011 Challenge will take on a two-day format again this year and is slated to open on Wednesday, Nov. 30.
Duke and Purdue will meet for the eighth time in school history with Duke leading the overall series, 4-3. The Blue Devils have won three straight against the Boilermakers since falling in the national championship game in 1999."
