Today's groupon for Nashville (http://www.groupon.com/nashville/) is half off the Don Meyer Evening of Excellence where Coach K will be the keynote speaker. Thought I would share this with my fellow Nashvillians and those close enough to check this out.

I always thought most of the coaches were at the Final 4. For example, I know that Roy is here in Houston right now, as are many others, so I assumed there must be some kind of meetings going on. But maybe they are all just chasing being interviewed and getting publicity. Or maybe Coach K doesn't like to participate in that stuff. Obviously, this speech couldn't have been planned very much in advance, since I'm sure he would rather be on the sidelines tonight.

Most of them are there for the Saturday games and the NABC meetings. Many leave on Sunday, though, especially if they're not angling for new jobs.

The speech is April 16th and it was announced February 3rd he would be the keynote.
