Last night was not the best of games for Ryan Kelly. He was in 5 lineups, only one of which was positive (just +1) and ended up -15 in just 21 minutes of play. Also of note - Tyler Thornton, in very limited action against UNC this season, is -18, with the team outscored 20-2. For whatever reason, he doesn't seem to be suited to playing against this Tar Heel team. As for the lineups, I would expect the one at the top of this list to be the one we see starting on Friday night in the ACCT.

Individuals
Andre Dawkins 20-20 (0)
Mason Plumlee 27-29 (-2)
Miles Plumlee 57-64 (-7)
Tyler Thornton 2-10 (-8)
Seth Curry 62-72 (-10)
Kyle Singler 67-81 (-14)
Nolan Smith 67-81 (-14)
Ryan Kelly 33-48 (-15)

Per 40 Minutes
Andre Dawkins +0.0
Mason Plumlee -4.4
Miles Plumlee -9.9
Seth Curry -10.8
Kyle Singler -14.0
Nolan Smith -14.0
Ryan Kelly -28.6
Tyler Thornton -107.0

Lineups (Score, times used, margin)
Smith-Curry-Singler-Mason-Miles (17-12, x4, +5)
Smith-Curry-Dawkins-Singler-Miles (13-9, x4, +4)
Smith-Dawkins-Singler-Kelly-Miles (5-4, x2, +1)
Smith-Dawkins-Singler-Mason-Kelly (0-0, x1, 0)
Smith-Curry-Singler-Mason-Kelly (8-10, x4, -2)
Thornton-Smith-Curry-Singler-Miles (2-5, x1, -3)
Smith-Curry-Dawkins-Singler-Mason (2-7, x2, -5)
Thornton-Smith-Singler-Kelly-Miles (0-5, x1, -5)
Smith-Curry-Singler-Kelly-Miles (20-29, x5, -9)

As a bonus, here's the +/- for UNC. If there's one positive to be drawn from last night's game, it's that the UNC starters (aside from Marshall) were not dominant - their big runs came with McDonald and Knox in the game. Zeller, Strickland, and Henson are down at the bottom of this list

Knox 39-19 (+20)
McDonald 38-24 (+14)
Marshall 70-57 (+13)
Barnes 68-62 (+6)
Bolick 3-0 (+3)
Hatchell 3-0 (+3)
Johnston 3-0 (+3)
Watts 15-12 (+3)
Zeller 63-60 (+3)
Strickland 57-55 (+2)
Henson 46-46 (0)

Kelly had the worst game I've seen from a Duke starter in a long time, not surprised to see it reflected here. There's no obvious solution though given our personnel.

Does this mean I can vote Kyrie Irving Man of the Match for tying for the best plus/minus? :)

Not sure losing to Knox makes me feel better! I'm also not sure how we lost the first 90 seconds of that game. Getting off to a quick start vs. young team is an imperative. Thanks for the data.

Getting off to a quick start vs. young team is an imperative.

Actually, given UNC started their seniors, it would have been more appropriate to say get off to a quick vs an old team or, at least, an inexperienced team.
