Jim Sumner's article on the main page about last night's Clemson game contains the following note:

This marks only the third time since the beginning of the ACC that Duke has had consecutive undefeated home seasons. Duke also accomplished the feat in 1963 and 1964 and 1998 and 1999.

Actually, I think it's the fourth time, not the third. Duke also had consecutive undefeated home seasons in 1990-91 and 1991-92. Duke's final home game in the 1989-90 season was a loss to Carolina -- then it went all the way to January 17, 1993 before losing another home game (to Virginia). From beginning to end, the streak spanned 36 home games.

I know it could be a tough next couple of weeks, but I like that reference. :D

Ridiculous stat. Just ridiculous. I think I like the "The seniors have only lost to a single team at home in their entire career" stat even better though! Just ridiculous!

My new favorite math problem, along with 4>2+2 is...

(17-0)x2!

I don't particularly like that stat given to whom they lost. Nevertheless, incredibly impressive.
