Check out this article on ESPN. Formula shows Josh at #8.

Wow-- that is a fascinating article. It will be interesting to see how his formula holds up going forward into the future but it sure seems solid based on the past few drafts.

I really like seeing Conley up that high and it reflects my belief that the Hawks should take him at #3.

Anyone else notice that there are an awful lot of Duke players at the tops of the charts ;)

He probably made his forumula based on the past few drafts, so it should be pretty solid there.

This is a fabulously interesting analysis. I can't wait to see how it holds up this year. It has worked well enough in past years to use as a tool to evaluate GMs! Also, if others haven't seen it, you could make some money on betting that the top ACC player is Young!

just note that you won't really be able to see how it holds up this year for 2 or 3 years, when we can start evaluating players being drafted now.

I agree, but I am assuming that for, say, the top 10 players it will be pretty accurate, with maybe a miss or two. But, we won't know for sure for a while, as you say. I wonder if the existence of this article will change anybodys mind on drafting?
