I am posting this in reference to this post (http://www.dukebasketballreport.com/forums/showthread.php?20939-2012-recruiting-thread&p=474875#post474875)on from the main board

The use of the word "allot" in the post made me want to share, one of the funniest blog posts I've ever read.

Enjoy

The drawings of the "Alots" are really quite good. A mixture of a bear, a yak, and a pug .... genius since the drawing really does look like that!

My was wondering why I was laughing hysterically until I sent her that link.

She likes that alot, that's for sure.

I can't find "alot" in any dictionary, and my spell-checker rejects it.

So what is this thread all about?

Somebody's imaginary animal? No? Somebody's imaginary word?

That's four questions in a row, and I have been alloted only 3 questions per post.

The mods will be after me.http://crazietalk.net/ourhouse/images/smilies/icon_whistle.gif

Love this blog... I've been an avid reader after I saw this post:

I still laugh so hard I cry, every single time I read it.

My wife and I read this blog... she sees a kindred spirit in the spider one.

Thanks for sharing!

Maybe if we inundate his e-mail box with alot of e-mails (great mental picture there), he'll draw us up something Alot of Duke fans would enjoy...?

Yeah, that blog has gotten me through many a long day at work. My favorites are her dog ones:

She does a good job with the humor, I like the edge that she has also. I thought this entry (http://hyperboleandahalf.blogspot.com/2010/06/this-is-why-ill-never-be-adult.html) was clever and honest.

Oh no. That's me to a "T". I just don't have the energy to be a responsible adult full time?

Back to the "alot" theme, I loved "Eats, Shoots and Leaves" (hope that's right:o). My boss and I are always getting into grammar fights. I usually end up giving in, but it really grates on my nerves when I know he's wrong.
