I have a stat question

I have a question about field goal attempts. Let's say someone shoots the ball, for arguments sake, let's say it is his first shot of the game. He gets fouled and the shot does not go in. Does he go 0/1 on the stat line, or us it more like a walk in Baseball where it be like not having an appearance at the plate? Feel free to move this thread, or delete it once it is has been answered.
