Don't know how you find the time my friend but I believe I'll go check out Austin play. Thanks for the heads up.

I'm not in law school like you so I have a little more time on my hands...

If anyone is around the area, definitely wear your Duke gear and cheer on these future and hopefully future Blue Devils.

Here are some local (Portland, OR) links from Bishop Gorman's win and the outstanding performance by Shabazz Muhammad.

Saw K, Wojo, and Nate at my old high school today. They were checking out Rasheed Sulaimon (Strake Jesuit, Houston), the number 8 ranked SG in the class of 2012 by scout. Kid is 6'4'' , and is described by one texas board as "Royal Ivey with offensive game"... Plays excellent defense, is an excellent free throw shooter (so I assume he is a good perimeter shooter, although he didn't take many jumpers), a terrific on ball pressure defender, and plays with good hustle. He dropped 20+ against Jesuit of New Orleans, while being double-teamed practically the whole game.

I can't make it, but thought this warranted posting a last minute heads up. Duke C commit Marshall Plumlee will be matched up against Duke C decommit Tyler Adams in less than an hour in Raleigh when Christ School takes on Brandon (MS) in the Glaxo Holiday Invitational: http://www.newsobserver.com/2010/12/27/883252/high-school-talent-on-display.html

Wish I'd seen this earlier. Should be very interesting on a lot of levels if anyone's looking for something to do on this Tuesday evening!

Christ School dominated, but it looks like Adams put up a better stat line.

Per USA Today (http://content.usatoday.com/communities/gameon/post/2010/12/top-stars-from-glaxosmithkline-holiday-invitational/1):

Tyler Adams vs. Marshall Plumlee: Adams (a Georgetown signee) won the battle but Plumlee (going to Duke) won the war. Adams had 21 points, 11 rebounds and four blocks but his Brandon (Miss.) team was beaten by Arden (N.C.) Christ School, No. 21 in the USA TODAY Super 25 boys basketball rankings) 70-46. Plumlee, the third of three brothers to choose Duke, had nine points and six rebounds.

There are some decent photos of them both in this N&O gallery (http://www.newsobserver.com/2010/12/28/886674/1st-look-christ-school-70-brandon.html).

Looking at the attached photo, I do sure wish both were coming. Tyler Adams is a beast and only a senior in high school. The attached article reflected Adams got the best of Plumlee last night. Adams 21 points, 11 rebounds, and 4 blocks to Plumlee's 9 points and 8 rebounds. Looking forward to a rematch after Coach K tutors him hopefully for four years.

Adams and Plumlee on slide 8.

Marshall didn't play nearly as many minutes as Tyler and he's not the #1 option on his team like Tyler is. Christ School is much more deep and talented than Brandon was.

That being said, Marshall still has some developing to do so set your expectations accordingly.

Check out the high top fade in slide 15. I didn't realize that Kid was back in high school or that he played ball!

Austin Rivers was at the Hoops in OverDrive event on New Year's Eve. He dropped 31, and had 25 in the second half. Highlights from us:
