Found this on ESPN and Eastbay. Could Duke be eliminating black from the football uniform? I sure hope so.

and I am not even one of those who say we should never have any black... but that thing is classic looking. I might have to buy one of those for football season this year!

Does this mean that they're going to take the black trim out of the helmet and the pants as well? Hopefully so, because while the new jersey looks wonderful, it would still look a bit silly with the same black trim in the pants and the helmet.

Although I did think last year's jerseys were very classic and sharp looking with the black in them...and those that know me know I love my jerseys!

Whoever had this inspired effort should be promoted immediately to oversee all uniform and promotional matters!

Maybe someday we can have white home basketball uniforms with blue trim and blue road basketball uniforms with white trim. One can dream....

As long as they don't go white on white for away games... white on blue on the road and blue on white for the home games.... white on white is just gut wrenching for any school
