Jeff Capel's Oklahoma needs late 3 to force overtime after trailing NCCU for most of second half. Sooners pull away in OT. Nice game by Durham's Eagles.

It's good that they won (for Capel) but it's not good that they needed OT to do it.

I hope Jeff ends up being a super coach, but he still needs to prove he can build a program without Blake Griffin around.

Many basketball careers have been built around one player. Not to mention I wouldn't sleep on NCCU this season, that basketball team has had success in the past and knows how to win. Oh yeah, there's a Dukie on the bench as well...

Great story with LeVelle Moton, the NCCU coach. I saw him coach our children's middle school team to several league championships, rarely losing more than a game a year. He did it with buzzer-to-buzzer, full-court pressure using M2M and various zone presses/traps. He carried this on to the HS level with one of our rivals and was very successful there, too. Not sure he always had the best talent but his players loved him and worked extremely hard. Parents seemed to admire him also. He was very approachable and very humble. I'm glad he has moved on to college BB and wish him a long and successfull career at this level or even higher. Except when they play Duke, of course:D.
