I know DBR gave some props to ex-coach Ted Roof, but it doesn't look to me like he has much control of some of his players. It's happened several time this season where his DT Nick Fairely has played on the cusp of being dirty by trying to drive the opposing QB into the ground. That happened Saturday afternoon against UGA. However, a blatant lack of sportsmanship occurred on two occassions where Fairely hit Murray well after the ball was release (not while stepping into the throw). Once he was flagged for it, the second time he was not.

If you watch the replay of the hit that knocked Murray out of the game, Fairely was (in my opinion) going for Murray's knees with his helmet. UGA's OG was blocking away from Murray, and not into him like Gary Danielson proclaimed. The ensuing two plays resulted in two Auburn players being ejected for throwing a punch.

I would hope that Ted Roof will take accountability for the lack of sportsmanship from his defense (especially Fairely).
