Does Kentucky's climb mean the people think Kanter will play?

Terrence Jones didn't officially pick UK until mid-May or so. That might be a factor.

It looks like some Kentucky betters are overvaluing inexperienced talent.

Kentucky loses 5 guys from a team that doesn't even make the final four; returns a younger, smaller team and they win it all? I'll take that money!

Worth noting-- odds are about generating betting from fans at a rate that allows the bookies to make money. For example, teams like Louisville, Michigan, and UConn -- teams who figure to be longshots to even make the tournament -- are included here because they have fan bases who will bet on them even though the odds of them actually winning are extremely low. No one actually believes Michigan has a 65-1 chance to win the title -- heck, they are long, longshots to even make the Tournament. but there are Michigan fans who will put money on them anyway.

--Jason "the most popular teams -- UNC, Duke, and Kentucky especially -- tend to get shorter than natural odds because so many fans back them" Evans

If you bet on Kentucky, Kentucky wins, and 2 years later the NC is vacated per Coach Calamari routine, do you have to give money back to Jimmy the Fish? Does Vegas list the odds of Kentucky winning AND having the title vacated? Or since KY winning is 20-1 and odds of the title then being vacated is 1-1, is the odds of both events happening simply 20-1?

Would the bookies have to keep the money in escrow until the statute of limitations for NCAA investigations passes? ;)
