That looks like one solid team. This fall brings an embarrassment of sports riches my way... Duke is on a mission to win another title, the Pittsburgh Steelers are winning without Big Ben and the Pittsburgh Penguins are ready to drop the puck in a new building with an improved roster.

Our guards look very, very strong. Kyrie looks like he put on a lot of muscle over the summer. Dawkins look he shed some baby fat. Nolan looks great. Thornton has a Ty Lawson-type body.

BTW, Todd Zafirovski looks ripped, I almost didn't recognize him. Wasn't he kind of a doughy guy last year? Those are some big shoulders and a small stomach for a guy his size...

Yes. The guy 2nd on the left in the back row is Kevin Cullen, who is a former team manager and now team's video coordinator.

The handsome gentleman at the far right of the last row is Kenny King, currently the Student Life & Campus Relations Coordinator. Kenny is responsible for academics and has done an outstanding job over the years of maintaining academic excellent on this team. Kenny graduated from Duke in 2000, then completed an MBA in 2008 at Fuqua.

Without Kenny and the others on the coaching and support staff, we might be in the same boat as UNC is right now. I love this guy!

That is a good looking group of guys. Their parents must be proud.

I gotta say that in this day-and-age, it's still surprising we don't see more tattoos on our guys. Much is made of that in the press, and I think even Wilbon mentioned it last night on PTI....Duke guys are good looking, have few tattoos, and can play ball....leading to hatred from opposing fans.

Not that tattoos are bad.....my wife has one....but it's interesting to see such a commonality amongst kids K recruits.
