Your post caused me to have to do a little detective work, because of the April '09 date. At first I read it as '10, because I remembered a great interview K did with Rose on campus a few days before this year's Final Four. The '09 interview is also great, coming after the Olympic win and K's book. Thanks for the reminder. For those who missed the '10 interview, it's wonderful, humorous, good insights into K's ways, and, of course, his thoughts on how to prepare for West Va and "beyond." It makes for delightful viewing, given that we know what's beyond!

Yeh, I listened to it before looking at its date. Very interesting chemistry, but it was obviously before Paulus decided on Syracuse QB much less Navy Assistant basketball coach and before Duke's most recent national championship.

My first impression is it much be a couple weeks ago because they are seated in same room and I doubt Charlie Rose is in Spain, but as it evolved could tell it was dated but nonetheless very interesting.

But Charlie is a good Duke grad, so all things are possible.

Thanks for the 2010 link. That was very interesting as well. I can't remember which one, but coach K made a good point that he has learned to deal more effectively with the meida past couple of years as a result of Team USA expereince. Of course a little easier to do when reporters are pro-USA instead of anti-Duke (not directed at Charlie Rose but media in general)
