Hopefully the kids won't fall in love with their press clippings. They've got the bullseye squarely on their back and if we think that teams got up for us before, it will only be ten times greater this time around.

The talent is there, but if you add up the numbers for Brian, Jon, and Lance and what they brought to the table, our new players will have to step it up.

Again, as the man said, the key will be can someone step-up and do the dirty work that needs to be done.

Thanks for the preview. Haha, I see you're in the Seth Curry Starting Lineup Camp. I'm sure that will spark some debate. Other than believing that Miles will start with Mason, I totally agree with your analysis. Can't wait to see how Josh, Miles, Ryan, and Mason combine to do the dirty work that Lance and Brian provided. That's a more offensively talented bunch of forwards than last year, at least in terms of putting the ball in the basket. However, Zoubek was arguably our second best offensive player behind Jon in terms of points per possession precisely because of his offensive rebounding. We thrived on extending possessions and giving our top scorers as many chances to convert as possible.

This next season, Duke will win track race games against most teams. It will be interesting to see how efficient we will be against teams who play a slow, steady, and bruising style similar to how Duke played this past season.
