Simple thing here. You give something about a Duke player or the team for 2010 and respond to if you think it will over or under. I will start.

Over/Under 6 assists per game for Kyrie Irving.

Over/Under 6 assists per game for Kyrie Irving.

8 guys in college basketball averaged 6 assists per game this year. Does Kyrie have the game and the teammates to be one of the 8 best point guards in the game?

Who were the best players on some of those teams with pg's who averaged >6 apg? Grievis, Drew II, Ish Smith.

Yes, Kyrie should average 6 apg.

Over/Under 7 rebounds per game for any member of the Blue Devil squad, and if over, then who?

Under. Duke has lots of back court players. In some games (UNC. MSU) he might be over, but there will be some blow outs where he is significantly under.

5 double figure scorers over or under.

I will say a push here. I think he will get that slightly, but wouldn't be surprised if he didn't get 30 minutes a game due to the depth of our guards.

Over/Under 19 PPG for Nolan Smith.

I say under. I am gonna say we have Nolan, Singler, Mason, Kyrie and a couple of guys with 7,8,9 in that area coming off the bench.

I think Miles and Kyle will make it. Kyle had 6.9 rpg this year, and I think with guys underneath who won't stay home quite as much as last year, he could pull down a few more. I don't think Mason will get there as one, there aren't enough to go around always, and two, he will likely be aggressive in going for blocks which could help other guys get them but not necessarily himself.

Over/Under A:TO for Kyrie- 1.6

As a reference, Here are A:TO numbers for some other notable freshman who started at pg right away.

Greg Paulus, 06 - 1.58
Jason Williams, 00 - 1.58 (not a typo, he and Paulus were the same)
Bobby Hurley, 90 - 1.73

Over/Under 19 PPG for Nolan Smith.

Under. Nolan will still be a starter, but his minutes will drop off because we don't need him to play 35 when he has Seth and sophomore Andre backing him up. I don't think he's going to get that much more efficient on offense, so playing 30 mpg he won't get 19 ppg.

Over/Under 1 Doc Rivers sighting at a game AFTER winter break?

13ppg for Kyrie???

Over/Under is fun!

In his freshman year Jason Williams averaged 34 mpg and 14.5 ppg. I expect Kyrie to get fewer minutes than Jason, and Jason only barely beat the 13 ppg mark. Also, the team will be bloated with scorers next year. I say UNDER.

Over/Under 14 ppg for Mason?

Under by losing just 1? They play 16 games, so they'd have to lose 4 to be under. I'm going with a push on 13 ACC wins, and 2 pre-season AA's. A 13 win season in the ACC is always solid, and I think Kyle and Nolan should both be pre-season All-Americans.

Over, tho' 13 wins in ACC is very nice, I think 15 is attainable and 16 is not beyond the realm of possibility.

"Over/Under 14 ppg for Mason?"
under. I see 10ppg for Mason as a solid projection.

"OVER/UNDER Seth Curry 15ppg?"
Ooohhhhh, push/over. I'm high on Seth, and I think he'll surprise lots of folks. I don't think he'll start due to line-up configs, but he'll be a potent scorer nonetheless.

"Over/Under: Kyrie 2 bapg (broken ankles)."

dont think well get one loss in Cameron! without a doubt. Coming off a NC year, hence the Cameron crazies will be better than ever! best PG (IMO) in the nation. 2 preseason All Americans. deepest benchin in the ACC muchless the nation. an "athletic" front court. Im certain!

I think it will be over. JS hit 110 last year, Kyle hit 85, and Nolan hit 60. I don't see Kyle or Nolan hitting a whole lot more than they did last year so that leaves a big space for Seth. I bet he hits right around 90.
