I put Roy last, but K first of course.

Currently, K is in 2nd, but with far more 1st place votes than anyone. It seems that lots of Kentucky fans have voted him last.

K is obviously the best coach in the game, but if there was one guy that there could even be an argument that he was better than K, it would be Izzo.

Somehow K is currently sitting at #2 behind Izzo.

Given how many 1st place votes K is receiving and still he is in 2nd place, must be that many haters are ranking him at the bottom of their rankings to drag his overall average down.

This is hysterical!

As of right now K has 1192 1st place votes and Izzo 386. Either love him or hate him. Side note - Roy only has 112 1st place votes.

Agreed. They should show last place votes as well, it would be funny to compare.

Agreed. My bottom cluster includes Calhoun, Calipari, Pitino, and WIlliams, and I do realize that none is a "bad" coach in regards to x's and o's.

Yeah, but then you couldn't vote for Roy. I picked all 25 just to make sure he was at the bottom of the barrel. By the way, this wasn't just showing my true blue colors; after this year I truly would not put him above any of the other coaches on the list.

K is barely ahead of Izzo. Yet K has well over twice as many #1 votes as any other coach. Looks like K is getting some negative love from the MSUers, UNCers, and others of my faves.

BTW I put Izzo in my top five.

I didn't give Ol' Roy a lot of love, but Jay Wright was in Sage Grouse Hell at #25. What a wienie! He called a TO with 0.1 left, trailing Georgetown by 13 on Feb. 6. Why do I care? Because the Duke game was in progress, and I missed another two minutes of action against BC.

Is this poll an average, or does it assign points based on what rank you give? If it's the latter, it's probably best not to vote for Ol' Roy or Slimy Cal at all.

If you have to vote for the top 5, might I suggest throwing Jamie Dixon in at #2? Enough second-place votes might allow him to pass Calipari for #12. :)

Seems the UK fanbase has been doing a lot of skewing today: Calipari has jumped Few for #11. I'm pouring all my #2 votes into Few now, with Huggins at #3. :)

Pretty funny if you look at the points distribution. K has like 3x the number of #1 votes as any other coach, and many, many times the #1 votes as Izzo, yet Izzo is ahead on points? Obviously there's many voters intentionally tanking K in their voting. Innocuous coaches like Boeheim and Izzo don't get "punished" like that by fans of other teams so much. FWIW, that is obviously being done to Calipari too, who has one of the three highest #1 totals, yet is not even top-10 in overall points - behind Huggy-bear?!! OK. Whatever.

Disagree. I think Calipari is getting tons of #1 votes from all the UK fans, and then most people are voting him where they think he actually belongs. I don't think people are intentionally throwing him down on their list b/c they don't like him...that's only us.

I'm sure most people don't rank many more than their top 5 or 10 and you either love Cal (put him #1) or you don't (leave him off). That is why he has so many first place votes but is so low overall.

K up just over 350 as of my vote.
