At least it's a start! Already in Indiana!

From KY. Sports Radio: — Havent seen a lot written about this, but Duke has taken over Kentucky. Well not exactly…Duke Energy, which is an offset of the same folks that gave us Duke University has bought LG&E and Kentucky Utilities…meaning that you will get your power from Duke. So long as they keep Laettner out of it, we should be fine.

LOL.

Duke Energy has always been one of the best electric utilities in the country. Their engineering/construction division, which used to be called Mill Power Supply Co. (but I think changed its name years ago), was the best in the business in the 70's and 80's, and probably still is.

Anyone else remember back in the late 70's (Spanarkel, Gminski, Banks, Dennard, Harrell, Bender, et al ) were called the Duke Power Co.?:D There were t-shirts available back in the day.

Pilot Life Sucks! A sign in Cameron that kept Duke off of TV for many years back in the 70's.

And how many times did the TV crew fall for it? (it was on the back of the sign and flipped at the appropriate moment)

If it was more than once, that is news to me. Of course, I was at the game and didn't see it on TV.
