Interesting article on the Suns and their playoff aspirations ... And, how they may rest on the able shoulders of one G. Hill:

Anyone know if there is any chance of him coming back to Duke to coach? :)

Has Grant off-sprung yet? Any chance of getting a commit from his progeny?

I had the pleasure of watching Grant play live in Cameron during all four of his years at Duke and I still believe, with all the great players we've seen at Duke, he was the best player I've ever seen in our uniform. I never saw Heyman or Groat play, but from 1978 on, there's never been anyone better. Grant had everything - athleticism, shooting, rebounding, understanding of the game, and he was the best defender I've ever seen. Grant on defense was simply unbelievable - he had his man covered, and everyone else's also. That 1994 team was good, but making the national championship game was all Grant.

I believe Grant only has two daughters, so looks like Coach P has a bright future ahead.

I also remember reading in an interview he had this past year where he was talking about maybe becoming an assistant coach at Duke had injuries completely derailed him earlier this decade. It would be fun to have him on the sidelines once he retires from the NBA.

When does Brodhead retire? Or does Shane already have that locked up?

Tweets from DukeBluePlanet:

"Grant Hill has won NBA's top sportsmanship award for record third time. A Duke player has won five of past six awards!!!"

"NBA's last six top sportsmen of year: G. Hill, E. Brand. L. Deng, G. Hill, C. Billups, and G. Hill this year... Good guys."

I'm putting down $31 on Mr. Battier for next year.

Good for Grant. Who chooses?

Grant & Shane are two Dukies who will disappoint me if they don't reach beyond basketball in their career aspirations.
