It's at GoDuke.com but you have to be a premium member. Does anyone know of a place to watch it for free?

seems kinda silly for Duke to charge to view this press conference.

I agree. We should at least get to listen to the audio soon:

Agreed - don't you want to maximize the size of your audience?

"Kyle just had presser w/ Coach K. Reasons for return: 1. Loves Duke 2. Wants to get better 3. Doesn't want to miss SR year opportunities"

This is what the tweet from Duke Blue Planet said about it:

forgot:

4. not a lottery pick

hate to be cynical, but in my opinion, kyle would have left if he were expected to go in the top half of the 1st round. that said, thrilled he's back.

What's your point?

Jumping to the League is a business decision. Anything that affects the "business" end of the NBA would have an impact on a player's decision-making. However, you're making an unfounded assumption about what Kyle would have decided.

Some players simply LOVE playing in college and want to squeeze every ounce out of it. We may have hated to see Beaker on the court, but no one doubts that Hansbrough cherished his time in puke blue.

Peyton Manning was going to be a top five pick no matter when he came out. But, he adored college. He stayed and enrolled in grad school in the spring of his junior year because he'd already accumulated enough credits to graduate by the end of fall semester junior year. If memory serves, he worked straight through and came out of Tennessee with a masters, as well as a whopping NFL contract.

Kyle was probably not going to be a lottery pick, but it appears as if he was a strong first round pick, i.e., guaranteed money. Initially, that's what he said he wanted. However, he changed his mind, and I think he did it because he loves Duke. He loves college and his team. He loves playing for K. The NBA will always be there (even a lockout doesn't mean it goes away forever).

The chance to play in Cameron is like Brigadoon ... It's only here once, and then it disappears into the mist.

Bravo to a STUDENT athlete who's taking advantage of an extraordinary opportunity.

Thanks for the video. Doesn't seem right to have to pay to view videos on "go duke," but anyway....

Kyle seems like a very reasonable young man. You only get to do college once, so why rush it? Going to be fun to watch this soft spoken warrior next season. Seems to be one of those guys who speaks softly and carries a big stick (his talent!). Lucky us!

My favorite part was how K said he hates the term "coming back", since in his eyes Singler is merely "continuing"; he never left in the first place. That is classic. I also thought it very interesting that he steers players away from "testing the waters". I figure it would be good for the experience..the player has nothing to lose even if he knows he won't stay in. K tells them either go or don't, but go with your decision 100%. To me, that shed a lot of light on Henderson's announcement last year.
