They did this last year when UNC won the title. They printed 190,000 for newstand distribution throughout North Carolina. I don't see any yet available online through SI for those outside of the area. Not sure if this will be newstand only...

Didn't realize they made an NCAA national championship swimsuit issue too! I'm picturing Zoubs in a speedo and thinking it won't sell many copies.

Seriously, I think this will only be available on newstands in areas where Duke fans are common. NC and maybe New Jersey. :D

I've gotten the commemorative SI package before and the cover as displayed online now is just a mockup and may change.

I signed up for the subscription to get the 2010 Duke package and plan to keep the subscription through the end of the NBA playoffs (not a huge baseball fan). I think I did this before and I got to keep the package. For the poster who already has a subscription, I would consider just calling up SI and I'm sure they'll offer you a deal (eg. re-up your subscription to get the package).

I believe if you are already a subscriber, you just add a year on to your subscription to get the package. Mind you, the one year price is more than the 2 or 3 year price. I had no problem paying the extra to get the package, though.

I bought the SI Duke Magazine and the USA Today Duke Blue Devils Commemorative Magazines at The Duck Shop on 9th Street in Durham yesterday. Erwin Road turns into 9th Street, and runs parallel with Duke's East Campus. The Duck Shop has a website and mail order also. Or Call the store, and order the magazines. They also have the News and Observor special edition of Duke in the Final Four. Their number is 919 416 3348.

Click on the SI link. Click on the right hand box (buy right now). Close that window which has it only with the subscription. Then a window will pop up that allows you to buy only the hardbound book.

I went in search of the April 12 edition of Sports Illustrated this morning. At first glance it didn't appear to be there. Then something caught my eye. There were copies of SI ..... not only the April 12 edition but also a special "National Champions 2010 Commemorative Issue" published by SI ..... but there were Nascar magazines in front of both Duke SI magazines! Kinda strange, don't you think that these car magazines were placed in front of the Duke SI magazines? I'm sure some jealous Carolina fan had been there before me trying to hide the Duke magazines, don't you think?

So, my fellow Duke fans, if you're in search of SI, be sure to look behind some car magazines and you just might find them!

I might make a framed pic with both the SI cover and the schedule from this year with all scores. I have SI but when I got the USA TOday magazine (? I think) and was going to cut out the schedule from there with all scores listed the durn WVA score said 58-57.

Anyone know where there is a Duke schedule with a list of Duke's scores in print (not just a print out from a computer like I could do from here or ESPN - that would not look very good and is not worth framing)

Yep that is the number. I called and they had plenty on hand and even put it in the mail today. The only places I go are the bookstore on campus, and the Duck Store. Hope you get what you want. :D

Just ordered mine tonight. Doesn't sound like they've shipped yet, but by the time I was done with the customer service person, I was slightly confused (although it doesn't take much). Also, anyone remember what the COST, including shipping, for the book & DVD came to?

Postcard from SI came in the mail Saturday: the mailing of the hard cover commemorative edition will be delayed 30 more days. This is the second delay postcard I've received from them.
