I was born in 1987, and only became a met fan in 1999, so my #1 is a bit different.

#1: Duke-Maryland, 2001 Final Four
#2: Duke-West Virginia, 2010 Final Four
3-5 Can't name off the top of my head.

The UK game was superb- highest level of basketball I have ever seen.

But the UNLV game sticks out in my mind as the quintessential victory in K's career.

The Hurley/Laettner/Hill/Davis era was so special in that you could really tell that they bled Royal blue.

I feel the same way about this years team.

1998 vs. UK: we were so so close, but at least we were Duke again.
2000 vs. FL: damn I was sad to see Chris Carrawell's career end. That was one year we got totally hosed on the draw (guess the NCAA didn't have a contract to renew )

I'll add beating Kentucky, in Rupp, in 1980.

Easy,

1. Duke beats Butler, NC game 2010
2. Duke beats WV, NC Semis game 2010
3. Duke beats Baylor IN HOUSTON, Regional Championship 2010
4. Duke beats Purdue, Regional Semis, 2010
5. Duke beats Cal, 2nd round, 2010

Anything older than that requires more memory/effort than I am capable of this week!

That said, I'll always be partial to 6. Duke over KY, Regional Finals, 1992 (arguably the best game EVER in the NCAA's); 7. Duke over UNLV National Semis 1991 (exactly 1 year after they trounced us by 30 in the NC game); 8. 1990 Regionals over UCONN (Laettner's first stunning last-second NCAA play - "Special!" was the name of the impromtu play that K screamed out to the team moments before Laettner nailed the 17-footer); 9. 2001 National semis (23 point comeback over ACC foe MD -- Sweaty Gary goes ballistic, and unfortunately so does Packer); 10. 1986 NC game (K's first NC game with mostly the same players who 3 years earlier won just 10 games all year - unfortunately the best team in the FF, the 2-loss Devils, were worn down by a brutal game in the semis (vs KA?) and didn't have enough in the tank left for Louisville and Never-Nervous Pervis Ellison. But K was on his way...)

:D :)

Chrononlogically ordered:

Duke over Michigan in 1963 semis. Duke had lost to Mich. during the regular season, but Jay Buckley went absolutely nuts in the National Semis.

Duke over Temple in the 1988 semis. Convincing win over a #1 team.

Duke over UNLV. 1991 semis. Sweet revenge for the beatdown in 1990.

Laettner miracle #2. Duke over Ky. in 1992 regional finals.

Duke over Maryland in 2001 national semis, overcoming a 22-point deficit. Galvanized the hate-Duke crowd in College Park.

'Hard to leave out Duke-Georgetown in 1989, Laettner miracle #1 in 1990 against UConn, and the defeat of #1 Purdue by Grant Hill and Co. in 1994.'

Forgot about Duke and Purdue, that was awesome. I just remember Duke holding Glen Robinson to like 12 or something. My best memory of the 89
GTOWN game was Phil Henderson dunking on Alonso Mourning. He put that man on a poster, I watch it on YouTube at least once a month LOL.
