This weeks SI cover and article are excellent .100% pro Duke . Butler was a great story ,but it's nice to read a piece that's about the Duke achievement.

The Grant Hill comments about the pre season pick-up game is a real pespective provider.

Finally ,won't the visit to the Prez be great with Reggie Love playing a key role ?

Actually, .100% is 0.001, 1/1000, 1 tenth of one percent. If I were a mod here, which I'm not, I'd edit the post to move the decimal point one space to the left so it became a period as it was intended to be. Just sayin... :D

I am glad this team got beat in a pick-up game by a bunch of former players who have loads of NBA experience and not Vanderbilt.

Also the visit to the White House will be the first time Duke goes when a Bush is not there.

ouch yeah I was reading it as .100 without the percent sign.

Did anyone else notice the picture of Hayward launching the last second halfcourt shot in SI? The clock just above the hoop clearly show 00.1 (1/10 second) remaining with the ball still firmly in his hand. The obvious question is whether or not he even got the shot off before time expired?

I heard Obama made a call to Butler before the game wishing them good fortune. Smart political move as they had so many supporters. Do you think he will really invite a school like Duke with such few potential votes. Also I didn't see Mr. Love at the game Monday night? Was he there? Go Devils!

Where in this article is the Grant Hill quote? I've read it over a couple times and can't find it.

I noticed that too! That aspect of the shot never got any play. We'll have to go back and look again in slow mo....

It was also nice to the the "Order Has Been Restored" Nike ad in this week's SI. I bet Carolina and, especially, Kentucky fans have had enough of all of this.

Awesome.

I still want that shirt.

There is no article listed as "scorecard"? Also, is there a way to navigate by pages... this is embarassing but I cant figure out how to find it! I even searched by grant hill and it doesn't pop up.

The shot was clearly out of his hand with about .3 remaining. Go back and check some of the High definition replays on youtube.

Really glad to hear that. I let my SI subscription lapse a year or so ago, and this is the first issue I've cared enough to buy from the newsstand. Will be great in-flight reading tomorrow!
