I'm still cursing CBS for barely showing us a glimpse of this time-honored tradition. Luckily, I stumbled upon this video (http://rivals.yahoo.com/video/college-basketball/Duke-cuts-down-the-nets-163379). It's great watching the guys cutting down the nets, but the absolute best part comes near the end, when Nolan shares a very warm moment with Coach K's eldest daughter and her family, and then Mrs. K tells him how proud his dad is of him. I may or may not have choked up.

Sorry this didn't make the CBS broadcast. At least "One Shining Moment" was there.

Thank you, TampaDukie, for this. It is a GREAT video and very munch appreciated, I have forwarded the URL to my family of Dukies, and I know they, too, will appreciate it.

Did anyone else notice Coach K tapping the rim right at the end? Has he done this before? I know he was cutting the net from the Butler end of the court and that rim was kinder to Duke in the last ten seconds than just about any other rim ever. I wonder if it had something to do with that.

I think that rim should be inducted into the Vic Bubas Corridor, right next to Rick Pitino's dry erase board.
