We need to organize the crowd at Cameron into singing 'Happy Birthday to Zoo.'

He turned 22 shortly after ensuring that Duke will return to Durham victorious.

Anybody have ideas on parking? I probably will not get to campus until 12:30 or close to 1:00. It's been a long time but as far as I can remember these things always seem to run a little late.

University is 'suggesting' the Bryan Center deck, but that'll likely fill up. You could try Medical Center PG 1 & 2, as well as the new Research Drive Deck.

I have the advantage of a campus parking pass (which I pay through the nose for), but will still have to hike across our pollen-saturated campus.

Thanks for posting. The moment when Lance walked up to the podium and paused to take it in... that really choked me up. Kyle's getting the "one more year" chant... heavy.

Teasing Nolan about getting a date was the best line of the whole thing

I think Lance made me feel the magnitude of the championship the most. You could just see that it meant so much to him. I feel so great for everyone, but maybe a little bit extra for him.

I also am just so touched for Nolan and his family. I lost my dad a few years ago, and I feel his absence every day of my life. I can only imagine what Nolan must have been feeling last night.

Missed it all cuz I was in a meeting! The nerve of my work.

Is it gonna be on somewhere to watch as a replay?

My question was, is there going to be any other celebratory events on Campus today? Or was that it?

Banner dropped first home game next year?

Totally stumbled onto the WRAL livestream of this when someone mentioned it on their twitter feed. Have been in a "can't believe this happened" kind of daze for the last 12 hours, but watching K talk and especially the players soaking in the deafening applause made me lose it. When Nolan came up ever so briefly, it was so touching.

Loved how K talked about this team (and the fans) being a throwback to the mid-80s -- not taking anything for granted, not feeling entitled, being hungry.

Man, this feels so great.

Do you guys think/know if there's going to be a replay of this online anywhere? Or if I can watch the whole thing on TV again? I'm really bummed that I missed it...

I contemplated setting ESPNews to tape from 1 - 2pm and forgot this morning. Going through withdrawl now that I missed it...

Agreed. I felt the same way about Nate when we won it back in 2001.

I agree re: Lance.

By the way, since he was never the guy interviewed after every game, we never had much of a chance to see his personality come through. Beginning with Senior Night, he really began taking center stage. I think that he has played great defense all year, but he became a team leader down the stretch. You would see him directing action on the floor, urging guys on, etc.

I really believe that watching these kids mature and grow is what makes all of us feel that this year's championship is so special. Watching them develop made me want this for their sake, not mine, which only added to my own enjoyment in the end. Does that twisted logic make sense?

I was there and sat right behind the stage 3rd row from the rail. Mrs. K was in the student section to my right, just to the left of the stage and was leading the cheer of 1 more year to Kyle. Awesome.

Cameron was packed. The upperbowl was pretty much full all the way around and many more on the floor and in the normal student sections. Crowd was very electric. Just a great great day! They had lots of cool championship shirts on sale in the concourse.

I got there at 12:30 picked up shirts for me and the kids, and headed to find a seat. They announced that the team was delayed and it would be closer to 2pm when the team would arrive.

So they showed the game on the video screen on the scoreboard and we got to watch the entire game again. They cut in to show the guys getting off the plane and after that went back and forth between the game and the live shots of Sky 5 following the buses bringing the guys in. They timed it so that the desperation shot of Hayward was right after Bob Harris walked in and just before he introduced the team.

Just an awesome scene and it was great to be there and experience it in person!

I still can't believe it! We are the National Champions!!!!!

You know, if this basketball thing doesn't work out, Coach K might have a career as a stand-up comedian :). Seriously though, he's a genuinely funny guy. Most of the time we hear him his comments sound really polished and workman-like, but in a relaxed environment like this his lighter side really comes through.

The whole video was so full of awesome!
