Didn't Jordan score 40+ with the flu. He will be fine. Scheyer's disorganized pelvis- well that is another story. :)

Oh no!

If only there was a decent medical facility in the area!

Coach K could pick up the phone and have the best physicians in the world walk over (he might have to cough up some tickets!)

Can this thread be closed please before people start freaking out. This was address way earlier and has already been mentioned that he just has a little cold.

Well, just heard that Singler got six stitches over his eye from an elbow from Dawkins in practice.

Except if the ailment were in his pelvis.

Ugh I hope he plays okay...even a little cold sometimes can make you fatigue so I am a tad worried.

So what's the over/under on total career stitches for Kyle?

I think we also review how he plays with stitches- I think it is pretty good.

If he's sick he sure didn't look it when he addressed the media just minutes ago. Kyle does have 6 stitches after a Dawkins elbow in practice (bridge of his eye)

Whos with me when i say...

Kyle having to get stitches might be a positive thing haha. The guy seems to play better when hes a little roughed up, he is very tough

It may have been Len Elmore who said "He needs to sprain his wrist more often if he's gonna shoot like this!" during the GT game. :D

Poor Purdue. They better be REALLY careful not to open up that cut. Kyle could hang forty on them if he sees blood.

At this time of year, I'll take a player with stiches and someone getting over a cold every time.

We have been very fortunate this year to be healthy during the tournament - a lot healthier than many other teams, including our next opponent.

A cold? A few stitches? I'll take it!

Are we sure this isn't just a misleading thread title like last week's "breakin' ankles" thread? Nolan did have some pretty "sick" moves last game. ;)

Definitely. WVU lost a starting guard today (http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/tournament/2010/news/story?id=5022928). Imagine if Duke lost a starting guard.

Can anyone confirm that Kyle had to get stitches today due to an accidental hit from Dawkins?:( The local news says but i can't find it mentioned online.

Should read this thread fully first and Twitter.

Hope this means practices are intense.

WatZone said it as well. If that's enough confirmation for you.

Listen to the K presser. He mentions it in the first minute.
