My understanding form the goduke.com article is that the first level is free.

The first level of competition can be downloaded free-of-charge from the App Store.

Try it. If you like it, buy it. If not, no worries.

Bought it to support K, installed, set up an avatar , went through the video intro by K, went to play the first game and........Nothing.....locked up. Did it a few times, never could play the game. :mad:

Version 1.0 of the app only runs on the 3Gs device. The 3G version will be out shortly. The free level is in the submit/approve queue at Apple.

So am I out of 3 bucks or you wanna deduct the 3 off of the price of y'all buying me a new touch ? ;) :D Ask Coach K to bring it to me, after the championship game of course, wouldn't want to impede on his work time. :D Seriously from what I saw of the app it looks nice, wish I could use it though.

Once the 3G update comes out you'll be able to play the game on your device. You won't have to re-purchase the app. When you play all the way through you'll be entered to win a bunch of really good prizes. Hopefully this makes it all worth the wait for you. If not I'll see about getting Coach K to deliver the 3 bucks after the championship game.:D

Verizon is offering a Coach K app as well in their marketplace ( I got it on my DROID). However, it is not a game or anything like that. It is Coack K quotes viewable one at a time. I'm not sure how many there are but it is several hundred, and is certainly something I have enjoyed looking at. The best part is that it is free :)

Seriously, if the point of this thing is to appear young and hip, it missed the mark. You have to seriously question his taste and our his advisors with something like this. It's just lame.

Based on the basic descriptions I've seen elsewhere, it sounds like it isn't a fake review.
