A nice collection of 19 "iconic" Duke bball pictures from SI, many familiar, some not (Quin and Reggie).

Thanks BD, good memories and a great way to begin the work day!
I wonder if Calvin Hill still has that sweater :)

Good stuff.

In picture #6 with Danny Ferry in NCAA tournament action, the opponent is the Boston U. Terriers. One of the stars of that team was Drederick Irving, father of incoming Duke recruit Kyrie Irving.

I loved Grant and his Dad's Cosby sweaters.

I was wondering who that ugly guy was with Amaker.

"Mike Dunleavy waits at the scorer's table during early round action of the 2002 NCAA Championship game."

2002 championship game? I guess Boozer really was fouled.

Great pictures, though, especially the earlier ones with the rich, deep blue of Kodachrome. Wasn't aware red highlights used to be part of our unis (the Heyman pic).

Anyone else ever noticed how odd the lighting is in the Metrodome pics, both the 1992 and 2001 versions? Almost looks like an outdoor game.

It just seems so dark, but I guess it's just the way the flash is messing around in that cavernous joint.

At what point in the sequence do the shorts go from too short to too long?

It's Jordan's fault.
