Big East Conference over and done?

I know it is basketball season but here is a strange interview with WVU's head football coach, Bill Stewart, from yesterday where he basically says the Big East is done. And he (I think) points out that there will be three mega conferences - ACC, Big Ten and SEC. And wonders where WVU will end up.
