Well this pretty much puts an end to his career. At his pace he was well on the way to reaching Singletary is their school's All-Time leading scorer, but only if he stayed 4 years.:D

That was a UVA decision. The ACC had nothing to do with it.

It's not mean, but I don't think it's likely we'll face them. Without Landesburg, I don't know that they will be able to beat BC (if we beat UNC) or GT/Wake (if we lose to UNC).

I give a lot of credit to UVa and Coach Bennett for making the tough choices, and setting a high standard. I am guessing we could all name coaches who we think would not make such choices.

I give UVA and Coach Bennett a lot of credit, too. It appears that Coach Bennett wants to make a statement about the integrity of the program that he's building there. Athletes at any college should be held to the academic standards set forth by the school first and foremost. Playing Div. I basketball is not a right. It's a privilege and should be treated as such.

He's not even a lock to be drafted in the 2nd round. DraftExpress had him as an early pick in the 2nd round of the 2011 draft. Moving up a year only pushes him down a bit more.

If he wants to be a pro, he can play and make money in Europe, but I am far from convinced he will be cashing a check from an NBA team next year.

We'll see but he has a better chance at reaching the NBA than any of our seniors currently based solely on the fact the NBA likes potential over experience.
