Crap. Terps win. Duke player absolutely got rocked in front of the goal, coughed it up, and Maryland rushes it down for a score.

The minute Duke missed that OT shot, I knew it was over. Tough loss, but Duke didn't look impressive at all.

I realize that Wigrizer is a true freshman, but there are parts of the team which should be excellent that are very disappointing instead. The forwards are fine, but the midfield has looked extremely underwhelming. The defense also made some key errors.

The team dominated face-offs, Crotty, Quinzani, and Howell executed, and they still lost 11-10. The team has yet to have an impressive outing, and I wonder if this could be 2004 all over again.

The Maryland goalie was the difference.

Landlord, Duke's starting goalie was kicked off the team just before the season started. We now have a rookie in goal. He has given up 11 goals in each game.

The vague "conduct unbecoming of a Duke student athlete" explanation was used. Inside Lacrosse said it had to do with academics.

I'm sure the Terps won't be able to relate..:D

Seriously, these players are supposed to be student-athletes and I like to think Duke takes the student part as seriously as the athlete part.

Was the goalie allowed to stay at Duke or was he expelled from the University? Did he transfer?

GO DUKE!

I believe it's just this year, he's eligible to return next year.
