Cool

the NCAA has launched the aptly named Vault, which contains full, commercial-free footage of 150 tournament games from the past decade — every Sweet 16 game on to the championship from 2000 through last year. Of all the games WIRED could have chosen as a screenshot for the new feature, they used Villanova destroying Duke last year.

Eh. I'm watching the 2001 Semi against Maryland right now. Good memories.

The NCAA vault (http://vault.ncaa.com/) has just undergone a major makeover, including adding several classic games. Games now available for Duke include every Final Four game that Coach K has ever been in, Christian Laettner's greatest hits (UConn and UK buzzer beaters), and several others. Overall, games go back as far as the 1976 championship. You have to feel a little for UCLA fans that it only goes back to just after Wooden, but this is AWESOME! Let the brand new time wasting commence.

Yes! I spent my lunch hour trying to explain to a friend the difference between college basketball in the late 80s and today. I can now show my friend the 1986 Final Four basketball games as an example of what I was talking about.
