Calhoun returned to his office Thursday morning and has assumed all coaching responsibilities with no restrictions, the university said in a statement. He went on temporary medical leave Jan. 19.

He won't commit to next year and his contract expires this year. No extension has been signed.

he does this every time his contract expires....he never renews until the offseason....

UCONN just lost to Cincinnati and Calhoun was pissed. He said his team had absolutely no effort. Just watch the press conference, it was ugly.

Some fill-in for Dan Patrick this week said it ought to be Geno Auriemma's job when Calhoun steps down. Does anyone think Geno wants to coach men?

While it is clear that he has nothing more to prove in WBB, Geno strikes me as the kind of guy who would not mind making a full career out of it, if for no other reason than to put some records totally out of reach.

Maybe Calhoun should get together with Ol' Roy. Between the two of them, they can figure out how to coach effort.
