Maybe Duke's loss a week ago wasn't as terrible as it seemed. Georgetown is up by 16 early in the second half, after being up as much as 21 points in the first half.

Maybe the Hoyas really like snow. Hope they get sent to Jacksonville for the NCAAs.

Wright just got his 4th foul. Let's see if 'Nova reels them in.

This game is running long. We're likely to miss some of our game.

I had a bad feeling from the start that this game would run long. At this rate I'd say we'll be lucky if we don't miss more than 4 or 5 minutes of the Duke/BC game.

This game speaks to the parity in college hoops nowadays...destroy Duke, lose to USF, open up a big lead against Villanova.

BTW, why do the Hoyas not use the Verizon Center for a game of this magnitude...or are we just that special? haha.

I'm not sure who I want to win this game. A G'town win would help our SOS (and make our loss to them look slightly better), but I've never been a G'town fan.

Looks like we'll probably miss 10+ minutes of the first half of our game at the rate this one is going. It's really plodding along slowly.

He just drilled two long 3s - but then fouled out. ;)

Doris says 'Nova is "scrapping and clawing and reaching". Nothing gets called.

Wow - Monroe is a SWEET passer.

How does Gtown give us last week and Nova this week the "overrated" chant? They were in NIT last year. Know your role people.

It took 45 minutes to play the last 7 minutes of that game. Crazy.

That definitely made our loss to Georgetown more palatable. I wonder if the whole country will second guess Villanova like they (and we, including me) did Duke

Jay Wright dropped a notch in my book - fouled Gtown on every trip in the last minute 11-14 points down. Including with 0.2 seconds left. He even threw a tantrum when they called a head butt against his player. Beginning to remind me our our own ACC thug coach from VPI.

Oops, my mistake...for some reason I thought it looked like a smaller arena today.

They play all of their games in the Verizon Center; their on-campus gym only holds about 2,000 i believe

Yeah, I just looked it up, that surprised me.

I guess I was thinking about Villanova's arrangement, where they have a primary on-campus gym but use the Wachovia Center for their "big" games.

Started strong- struggling mid season. A little familiar for King.

In fairness, I think the very late fouling was on the players. Wright looked pretty exasperated with the last foul.

Whatever the case, it was really aggravating while waiting for them to air the Duke game.

Actually, they played one game this at the on-campus gym (McDonough) and managed to lose to Old Dominion. Turns out that Old Dominion has had a good year, and is ranked #28 by kenpom.com.

It's going to get worse. Their schedule is back loaded. In their final nine games they play:

West Virginia twice (including at WVU in 48 hours), at Pitt, at Syracuse, at Cincinnati, and Conneticut at home. Even the "easy" home games: South Florida and Providence, aren't so easy.

Started strong- struggling mid season. A little familiar for King.

Non-conference games v conference games.
