I really miss it. In fact, years ago, when a friend first clued me in to DBR, he did it by telling me that it had an awesome 'Quotes' section that was endlessly entertaining. I checked it out, and for years it was the first thing I would check when I visited DBR.

Now, when I see the quote sidebars, it's nice, but it always makes me a little nostalgic for the old site. It seems like it would be really easy to add a page with all the quotes they collect and I, for one, would welcome such a change.

This thread is getting ready to leave the front page, so I thought I'd take one more shot before I let it go.

The quotes page really was a great asset to the site, for those who weren't around at the time.

I for one miss it, and have looked for it on numerous occasions to no avail.

One of my favorites...
"And have you seen the freshman class? It's an embarrassment of riches, a complete unit of blue-chippers; guards J.J. Redick and Sean Dockery, big men Shavlik Randolph, Shelden Williams, and Michael Thompson -- these guys could go open their own college and make the NIT as a unit."

It's DBR as it was in late 2004. Check out the quotes if you get a chance. It really is good fun...

Ask the owners of the site to consider returning it to the board.

Do we have any players that are quotable today as Battier and Carrawell were? Those guys were really great interviews, and could make me think, or laugh!

Wow, that worked?

Hold on, I want to try something...

I'll second this! I don't know how many times something big has happened and I've thought about what the discussion on the PPB about it would be like, only to remember that there is no longer a PPB.

*waits patiently also*

dukefanbrooklyn will not be happy. But, everyone else will, so who cares what he thinks.

I don't really care about the Quote section. I would not be upset if it returns but i'm not as excited as some of you are about it.
