Apologies again for another delayed plus/minus post. A lot of what happened can be explained by that brief stretch where K went with Nolan Smith and four subs early in the first half. He was trying to get to the under-12 timeout with that group -- or so it seemed -- but they looked totally uncomfortable, got outscored 5-0 in the blink of an eye and K was forced to throw Scheyer and Singler back in there. Also, Lance Thomas' numbers dipped a little by being on the court to finish the game with some weaker players. It's just one game, as I always say, which is not particularly important in the scheme of plus/minus. But, at the same time, it's easy to see why Scheyer and Singler need to play so many minutes, as well as why Dawkins and particularly Kelly aren't ready for big roles against ACC opponents yet.
