Looks like UW has a good shot at this one..... may make Duke's only loss less discreditable..........

I think they're a legitimate top 25 team, top 10 team at home. I would not be surprised if they went undefeated in Kohl this year.

Very glad to see the badgers get the win today against a very good Purdue team. As most of us knew, this Wisconsin team is actually a good team, especially at home and it should help our RPI as well.

Kentucky struggled at home against Georgia today. Their days of no losses are coming to an end before much longer.

Wiscy checks in @ #13 in the AP poll. Somehow ranked behind the pUNCs.

Doesn't look like such a bad loss now, does it?

I'm fine with UNC's current ranking. They have one bad loss (in a game in which they were missing two starting wing players) and three losses to teams in the top-5 (including to the #1 and #2 teams on the road), and they beat MSU. I think this is an instance where the voters were actualy able to look beyond just the W/L totals and see where the results actually occurred.

But yes, the loss to Wisconsin shouldn't have been thought of as a bad loss when it happened, either. First road game, tough environment against a well-coached team. Aside from the loss to Green Bay, Wisconsin is having a really good start to their season.

However, Wisconsin takes a big hit with Jon Leuer out indefinitely with a broken wrist (http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/news/story?id=4816123). Article says that he is having surgery so it sounds much more severe than Mason's injury. Bet he is out at least 6 weeks, probably more. He and Hughes make that team go. Tough loss for the Badgers.

That's very unfortunate for them.

I was at the game. Don't remember the fall. Do remember him having an absolutely horrible shooting game.
