John Gasaway of Basketball Prospectus lists (http://basketballprospectus.com/article.php?articleid=850) his his top 25 freshmen at this point in the season. Dre clocks in at number 5:
5. Andre Dawkins, Duke
He comes in the game, he makes threes, and then he sits back down. Sure, Dawkins benefits from playing in on offense with the likes of Kyle Singler and Jon Scheyer. Then again those veterans benefit from the presence of a stone-cold perimeter assassin like Dawkins.
Not bad when your class includes much ballyhooed players like Wall, Cousins and Henry. And Gasaway is a Big Ten guy - no shill for the ACC by any means. Nice to get recognition. And he could be still ballin HS style. :cool:
