Deservedly so. He's truly a class act. (Although I was devastated that he left Duke after only one year. I really thought we'd have him for two.

Dukie, yes- but I don't think Luol Deng can be considered an alumnus.

Alumnus generally defined these days as a graduate or former student.
Luol is thus an alumnus.

The Duke University Alumni Association considers anyone who has attended Duke for two consecutive semesters and left the University in good standing to be an alumnus.

It's a testament to the type of young men Coach K recruits. Congrats to Shane for finishing second. Maybe next year he can make it 4 in a row.

When Duke players like this show class, they're holier than thou. When they display some gamesmanship on the court (JJ/Dahntay), then they're classless punks. I think all that matters is we know how good our guys are.
