Lawson dunked over a 7-footer the other night, but the best part was that the game announcers called him "Tyrus". Priceless.

Just goes to show that, in some instances, there are distinct NBA vs. NCAA fan bases who are basically unaware and/or disinterested in the other "league". Or maybe it just shows that a lot of on-air sports "talent" are just empty hairdos.

Either way, I believe we should henceforth refer to Lawson as "Tyrus".

In the old NFL , any roster listing would include a player's college. Now, not very often, especially in the newspapers. My theory is the newspapers and maybe tv associations in pro cities are "bought off "by the pro teams to omit such unnecessary references to the college game. With many "no college" or just 1 year players in the NBA this omission in the NBA can be easily done.
