Duke senior Thaddeus Lewis has been named one of five finalists for the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award, an honor presented annually to the top senior quarterback in the nation by the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Educational Foundation, Inc., and Transamerica, a leading provider of innovative business and personal financial services.



Lewis is joined on the list of finalists by Dan LeFevour (Central Michigan), Colt McCoy (Texas), Zac Robinson (Oklahoma State) and Tim Tebow (Florida).

Tebow might the Golden Boy but he does not have a Golden Arm.

Big time honor for Thad. I hope he has 3 more great games in Duke Blue.

It's wonderful that Thad is on the list for the Unitas Award. He's certainly worked hard to earn it!

Thad should also be on the Chuck Wepner list for the beating he's taken over 4 years.

What a great kid who has represented Duke in nothing but outstanding fashion. A kid with a glass always full outlook. A kid who has competed his tail off for my school.

Regardless of what life holds for you Thad, you'll always be tall enough to succeed in any endeavour in my humble opinion!
