It may be tough to watch this one. Especially if Elliot ends up draining a few 3's (not a strength in his time at Duke), scoring on drives, and getting steals... all that stuff we'd love to see from him over here.

I love to see him play well but the better he plays the more i miss seeing him playing at duke.

I wish him the best but it was 4 games ago he was starting at guard for us in the sweet 16... Its just really unfortunate he didn't get to become that big time player at Duke.

I was just about to say the same thing. Also, the giant Reese's and Bud Light logos go really well with the huge "Basketball Hall of Fame" logo at half court.

Elliot just bricked a 3. He's 1-5 fg right now. One made 3. He's playing PG out there. Probably not ideal.

It may be tough to watch this one. Especially if Elliot ends up draining a few 3's

not an issue so far. I'm not sure he has hit the rim on a three yet (and I have seen him take three 3's). Poor guy. He'll get better eventually.

Memphis has very little movement on offense contrasted with Kansas who are screening and cutting.

Email's mom is sick (cancer) and he got married recently....
He has a lot to deal with off the court.

Speculation around Memphis is that Email wanted to start a family while his mom was still able to enjoy it, so went ahead and tied the knot.

KU looks bad now, but they have a ton of talent and Bill Self is a good coach. I'm sure they'll finish the season in the top 3. Henry, Aldrich, and Collins are on steroids; they're all huge.

Memphis has a ton of athletes and no shooters.

Elliot needs to pass the ball or drive to the basket instead of taking long 3s. He has 0 assists and he's not shooting well (and he's never shot well).

Edit: Mack is apparently the shooter that Memphis needs. I don't know why he's only taken 3 threes, while Elliot has taken 9.

No, I am certainly not worried about Kansas. They'll get it figured out. Henry doesn't seem to know his way around the offense yet, that's to be expected.

EWill appears pretty uncomfortable with his teammates. The way they've shot, I can almost understand why.

So close for Memphis.

I'm glad Elliot Williams is able to see his mother daily and not just when she can travel for games. I hope she gets through her medical problems and they have many wonderful days to build memories.

Man, I thought that was going in...Showed lots of confidence to take those shots. Isn't it funny that suddenly we're all cheering for Memphis? I would have NEVER guessed that in a million years if you asked me two years ago...times have changed. Looks like Memphis has really embraced Elliot, which is nice to see.
