Man -o -man, my devotion to Duke Athletics is on rocky ground .For 5 decades ,I've been energized and felt really good vibes about our sports progam,but lately....
I had to admit to some UNC types that the rivalry was a joke in football--each team in a rivalry should win some of the time ... Not to worry , I like to follow ALL Duke teams --so lets go to Field Hockey and Soccer;We're a no-show ! Maybe I can get a boost by Harrison Barnes ...UGH ! I'm sure the football team will be competitive against Ga. Tech...Ga Tech scored at Will !
I want to get behind Coach P and I got excited about the Recruiting year,but I catch the A& M game and they looked helpless,really inept ,like I recalled from Mich. State last year.It looks like the strategy never changes no matter the game situtation...
I think I'll get some I.V. Fluid from the Carlyle Cup---Warning ,don't go There.
Plumlee's wrist is on the mend, right ?
I got through the Lacrosse mess and I'll bounce back for sure . Coach Cutcliffe has me optimistic about the future . For right now , I'm screaming hard for the women in Cross Country. Thanks for letting me vent.
