Does anyone know of a good place to watch Duke games in Philadelphia (preferably in Philadelphia proper -- Center City area)? Thanks in advance for any suggestions, especially suggestions that come before tip off!

If I remember right, there used to be organized Duke watch parties at the Fox and Hound (15th and Spruce). I'm not sure they'll be up and going until the conference season starts, though. But Fox and Hound has a ton of TVs and I'm sure they can put the Duke game on for you.

The Duke Club of Philadelphia (http://www.dukealumni.com/olc/pub/DUKE/cpages/home.jsp?chapter=22&org=DUKE) doesn't have anything listed yet, but they'll be the ones who set up the watch parties.

The Fox and Hound is probably your best bet if the local Duke Alumni club doesn't work something out with a different bar. But considering that Duke plays so many games on national TV you might be better off going to a place you like as it's likely they will be able to get you the game on as long as it doesn't conflict with the Flyers or 76ers. Never been impressed with the food and beverage choices at the F & H, so many better bars close by (Misconduct, Good Dog, etc)

From a buddy who lives in Philly

i don't normally go into center city to watch games, but there are hundreds of random bars with a bunch of tvs. This place i have been to for March Madness games and they have a zillion tvs.

Most of the "Hoops Watches" have been at Fox and Hound over the past few years. The Duke Club watched last year's Carolina game (the one at Cameron) at Tir Na Nog on 16th and Arch.
