I just moved to Minneapolis a few months ago and am trying to figure out how I will be able to watch the ACC Sunday Night Hoops games. I have Comcast because I can't get DirectTV in my building. Even if I get the full FOx Sports package, I only get 3 channels, none of which are Fox Sports South. Does anyone know if these games are broadcast on any other Fox Sports Channels? Or, is there a website that someone streams these games from their computer or whatnot? Anyone have a similar problem?
I know I can get the Slingbox and hook it up to someone in my family's TV in NC; however, I'm trying to save the $200 if I can!

ACC Sunday Night Hoops games are all simulcast on FCS, sometimes FCS Atlantic, sometimes FCS Central. They are also on your local FS Network (in your case, FS North or FS Minnesota, whatever it is) as long as they are not pre-empted by a Timberwolves or Wild game.

DirecTv's sports pack includes Fox Sports South. That's how I always catch the games.

I'm in Kansas, as if you couldn't guess that, and usually get the games on the main Fox Sports channel or Fox Sports Atlantic. I don't have Fox Sports South.

Here in Nevada I have Fox Sports West and Fox Prime Ticket on my digital cable, and they showed ACC Sunday Night Hoops. Take Wikipedia for what it's worth, but their article (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fox_Sports_Net) on Fox Sports Net states that ACC Sunday Night Hoops is broadcast nationally:

In eastern PA, Comcast use to broadcast most of the Sunday night games, but not always the entire game, on its own CSN(Comcast Sports Network) channel for free while charging extra for the sports package that included the Fox channels. I wasn't with Comcast last season and don't know if this is still the case.

Well, for the games that say "FSN" on the schedule, your local affiliate should carry it. However, for UNC-Greensboro and Long Beach State, it's solely on Fox Sports South, so most likely you won't get it. In Chicago (where no Fox Sports Net exists, but Comcast SportsNet carries the rights), even some of the FSN Sunday Night games I didn't get last year since the Blackhawks were playing at the same time. So, I got about half of them, which was annoying. So, definitely depends on the individual market, but, by and large, all "FSN" games are national except for local blackouts.

It took me awhile to figure this out, but there are two Comcast Sports Net channels in Chicago. Sometimes, for example, one will have a Cubs game on and the other will have a White Sox game on. Last year one of them carried every Sunday night ACC game I cared about enough to bother watching.

At least for sunday night ACC hoops all FSNs will carry the game as it will be broadcast on all the FSN channels. As for the FSN South games (like UNC-G) I'm sure there are some bars in the area (i'm looking for them too Sarah as i just moved to minneapolis too) that will carry it.

I just moved from the South to Minneapolis this summer, and I'm now in a predicament of not having access to Fox Sports South and ACC Sunday Night Hoops. I have Comcast, and they only offer 3 Fox Sports channels, even on their extended package, none of which are FSS. My building doesn't allow DirectTV. So has anyone else found themselves in this situation and maybe found an online streaming site? I know I have the option of getting my family to hook up a Slingbox in NC, but I'm trying to save the $200 if possible.

Haha, yes, it was in fact addressed! I think I got busy and forgot I posted that thread and then never checked back to see if anyone responded. Thanks for everyone's responses. Hopefully we'll end up getting most of the games here then :)

Wow, nice. You are on top of your DBR game. Wish I'd caught that.
