Just a wag, but I'd say those guys are the 1930 Duke Blue Devils. :D

I'd be afraid of playing anyone wearing their shorts that high. Ouch! No wonder they looked like they were in a bad mood.

I love the knee pads (not braces). They must have spent a fair amount of time on the floor!! They look more like the wrestling team than the basketball team. I bet they were a tough bunch to play against...

Are they standing on the steps of the East Campus gym?

I thought the second guy from the left on the front row looks like pictures of Bill Werber, the first basketball A-A, who left Duke in 1930 to join the NY Yankees. I remember him coming to Duke games as recently as 6-7 years ago.

Is it just me or did those guys look at least 30? Even if they were in Duke uniform....

I somehow get the impression that it is not on-campus.

Thunder Lake in Rocky Mountain NP. Perhaps this is a nod to Ken Burns' recently completed series, or maybe one of the founders is in Colorado today. (I am posting this from Colorado in fact, having hiked a 14er earlier today.)
